In this short article, I will be showing you the simple steps you can follow to install the MetaMask Extension on web browsers like Chrome or Brave with the aid of pictures.
1.) Visit the Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions
2. ) Search for “MetaMask” and select the first option
3.) Click on “Add to Chrome” or “Add to Brave” (depending on the Browser you are using) to install the extension.
4.) After the installation is complete, click on the extensions icon on the top right-hand side of your browser and select the MetaMask extension.
5.) Agree to MetaMask’s Terms of Use and then proceed to create a new wallet if you don’t have a MetaMask Wallet yet (keep your secret keys safe).
Or you can choose to import your existing wallet (if you already have one) by inputting your secret keys.
Once you are done with the last step above, you should now be able to carry out transactions on the extension and also connect it to dApps.
So that’s a wrap for this short article that has shown how you can install a MetaMask Wallet Extension on a Web Browser.
